Terms of use

The scope and conditions for using the Auvimo apps and website.

Content updated: October 13, 2026

About the service

Auvimo is a media player for Mac, iPhone and iPad. All current features are free and require no account. Features vary by edition and version.

Your content

Open, download, save and share only content you are authorized to use, following the content provider’s applicable rules. Auvimo does not supply movies, subscriptions or access rights to protected content.

Downloads are not intended to bypass sign-in, payment or DRM. BitTorrent may upload to peers; make sure you have the necessary rights.

Compatibility and availability

Media compatibility depends on codecs, containers, subtitles and devices. Network content also depends on website policies, URL expiry, region and access conditions. Not every file, website, quality or link is guaranteed to work.

Features differ across platforms and editions. Libraries and history do not sync automatically between devices. The direct Mac edition and Lite keep separate data.

Files and backups

Keep original files and backups of important content. Deleting app-managed media, uninstalling the app or clearing data may remove content and records. You are responsible for keeping private-space passwords, recovery codes and encrypted backups safe.

Third-party software and services

The app uses open-source components. Their licenses, notices and applicable source and replacement instructions are provided with distribution materials, and their respective licenses continue to apply.

Media providers, the App Store, email and download hosting providers operate their own services under their own terms. Free use of Auvimo does not imply that third-party content or services are free.

Contact and changes

Changes to features or terms will be reflected in the content update date on this page. Contact auvimo@163.com with questions. These terms do not limit rights granted to you by applicable law.
