Installation and updates
After downloading the direct Mac edition, open the DMG and drag Auvimo into Applications. Starting with 1.0.1, automatic update checks are enabled by default, while existing preferences are preserved. Turn checks off or check manually in the app menu; downloading and installing updates still requires confirmation.
Store editions install and update through the App Store. The direct Mac edition and Lite keep separate media records, with no automatic migration.
